Counseling Groups in Liberty, MO

Mental health is not just mental. As a complete counseling and wellness practice, our team takes pride in offering all of the resources necessary to navigate the ups and downs of life. Counseling groups are one of the many avenues in which that is displayed. Led by a trained professional and Jars of Clay team member, counseling groups provide a number of unique advantages.

Community
In a group counseling setting, you’ll instantly find yourself surrounded by others in similar situations, which reinforces the fact that you’re not in this alone.

Trained Professionals
An important factor in a successful counseling group is an educated and experienced counselor designing the curriculum, and helping to facilitate the discussion.

Cost Savings
Money shouldn’t serve as an obstacle to receiving the care that you need. The investment for group counseling is generally less expensive than individual counseling.

New Ideas
With many of the topics covered in group counseling settings, you’ll realize not every solution is the exact same. Learning how others navigate uncertainties can be beneficial.

Throughout the year, Jars of Clay offers a number of counseling groups designed around various purposes. Listed below are our current counseling groups with openings.

Holy Healthy Habits Counseling Group

What would change if you stopped fighting your body and began caring for it from a place of freedom, compassion, and confidence in Christ?

Holy Habits is a Christian counseling group for women who are tired of yo-yo dieting, body shame, and feeling as though they never measure up. This is not another restrictive diet, weight-loss challenge, or short-term attempt to “fix” your body.

Together, we will explore the emotional triggers, thought patterns, past experiences, and everyday pressures that influence how you eat and how you see yourself.
